Will, you spent a long, long, long time putting the maps into the countries. It demonstrates good technical skill, but I'm not sure it was a good use of your time. Meeting the "clients" deadline is more important than picky details of the design.
It is the Guelph Multicultural FESTIVAL, it doesn't completely make sense otherwise. I really suggest that you keep the assignment sheets I give you and read the requirements carefully. There was a write-up to go with this task, and you didn't do it. Sigh.
